We found it excellent. The location is great for exploration, within walking distance of all major sights and the bus tour operators are literally a 2 minute walk away, but far enough from the backpacker area to get away from all the noise and all the other tourists. There's a small Japanese community around the hotel, so if Vietnamese cuisine isn't up your street, you'll find reasonably priced Japanese and Chinese restaurants, too. The beauty salons are also much cheaper in this area than all the touristy places. I had a manicure & pedicure and my husband had a haircut for half what we expected. The hotel itself is exactly what you pay for - we had a deluxe room on the 5th floor and it was slightly smaller than expected, but we only needed it for sleeping, so the size was not an issue for us. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable. There's a great view over the city and the area is quiet during the night. There's a Chill Rooftop bar around the corner from the hotel, which is worth checking out for the spectacular view of the city at night.

I stayed at the hotel Asian ruby hotel central and the staff where very friendly and very helpful and go that extra mile to help and give advice and places of interest and the directions to get to where you want to go I say thank you Ms Bee and all the staff you are angels thank you again for making my stay great see you soon Bernie

These reviews are not what i recieved. Staff wont smile, door man doesnt open door all but 2 times he did it. Just played his phone. House keeping ruined my washing. All my whites came back green and of course when i complained the no speak english suddenly came out and they expect me to pay? Asking if i want to pay now? Hell no! Food was dryer then a sandbox. Im sorry but reciews here isnt what i recieved. E-Central on De Tham is a much more nicer hotel! Only here because this is starting point of our tour. Dont waste your money. Cant even get a bathroom light bulb been 3 times over 15 hours still no light. Aircon is also a fan doesnt work.

Room is a little tight but how often do we really stay except sleeping. Cheaper than most hotels...expect to pay about 50 for 3 people per night. Close to most locations, Starbucks right around the corner!
