The perfect place to enjoy the true meaning of backwater. If it is sedentary and solitude you seek, this is the place to spend 20 minutes or more of your life (for tourists of course). The artifacts themselves are nothing to behold, however it is all of them combined with the atmosphere that makes the place feel special. Abandoned, neglected and yet somehow retained its French-ish jaune veneer that goes well with the architecture of the former colonisers. Besides, the place just ever so conveniently resides right next to the riverside, making a stroll after the visit ideal (the disturbance of traffic is doesn't, though). Still I highly recommend checking the place out when you are out and about in Ben Tre.
