The quad bikes look good and quiet comfortable. I did not take a ride myself as I preferred to walk around and explore the place. But saw many who took one and reached the top of the dunes for a better view.

It's lovely & beautiful areas. Looks quite far but it not that far to walk. You also can choice with jeep car package to discover more and easier.

We drove motorbike to go there, the drive was incredible! not that far, many things you can see on the way! you are gonna find big natural cracks on the ground, cow walking on a street, view point over a harbor..... You definitely should go to this place! Much bigger/higher than Red dunes, entrance fee 15k dong. We walk, run, jump, slide down, just sit on the sand, enjoied with varieties of ways:)

This is a wonderful place. If you are staying at Ho Chi Minh City, it is about a 4 hrs drive, but it is worth. You can rent one of the 4x4 cars to get to the high dunes, however some local guy will drive it. Price is always negotiable. The sand sliders may not always work as expected.

Our tour driver took us here (for commission most likely). Firstly the good, the dunes are amazing. The views are epic for a county in the tropics. The bad, you must negotiate the price. It was 1mill for one person to drive but you have a Instructor sitting next to you tell you to go here and there. While we are on the topic of instructors, one of them swiped my phone from my pocket. When I realised I didn't have it, I demanded to be taken back up the route I came because I thought it dropped. Like a miracle the instructor presented it to me as if it was on the seat... Which it definitely wasn't and my gf saw him take it out of his pocket. We burnt our feet multiple times quite badly on the overworked and poorly maintained quads. One overheated do much we had to stop and let it recover and stop smoking. Overall, steer clear, or be cautious if you plan to go here or ur tour guide brings you here. I just hope you read this before your too are burnt and and attampted to being robbed. Have a great trip!

Limited fun and pretty expensive. It was 600,000 VND to take an open air Jeep on a fun but extremely short ride. Thankfully, we split the cost with another family, so it worked out to 100,000 VND per person (two families of three). The experience: there are two ways you can go...via quad (up to two riders with a driver) or via a 4X4 truck or Jeep-like vehicle. We chose the latter so all three of us could go. As noted, we split the fee with another family of three. First, they take you to the top of a dune, where you can ride a makeshift sled (really just a plastic panel with a rope handle) down to the bottom of the dune. Be warned, you have to climb back up the steep dune on your own, as there's no ride at the bottom. We all decided to forgo the sled ride and we all got back in the Jeep and went for an exhilarating, but very short ride up and down a couple dunes and out to the lake to take photos. Then another Jeep takes you back to the facility. The Jeep ride in its entirety is about 5 minutes including the ride up the dune for the sled ride. If the entire ride was 15 to 20 minutes, it would have been a much greater value. I can't say anything about the quad ride--either how long /short or enjoyable. Note: I didn't see anyone anywhere wearing a helmet or any other safety equipment and there were no seatbelts in the vehicles. My boy and I sat in the back bouncing around in the open air and hung on to the roll cage for dear life! Again, exhilarating, but not exactly safe. Just wanted to pass that on. Heaven help them if they roll a vehicle loaded with tourists--kinda kills the idea of having a roll cage! On a positive note, there was an ambulance that seemed to reside there, as it never moved during our visit. Knowing what I know now, I probably would have done something else, but visiting the location was part of my tour package, though the fees were an additional expense not included with my tour.
