Very nice place for trekking. Good place to spend weekend with Family. Have many places to see in this nature park.
We visited with our 2yo so only booked a short hiking tour. The guide is very nice and we learned a lot about nature. Night safari is apparently popular, so much so that it was already full when we tried to book. If you plan to visit on the weekend make sure to book the night safari tour in advance to secure your place (easiest way is to do that via your accommodation provider).
An ideal place to truly immerse ourselves in nature.
Ah we loved this place! It was enough for us to stay for 3 days and 2 nights but being there was lovely. The sound of the animals especially the gibbons are truly amazing for us. We found a lot of birds and our tour guide introduced us to many different kinds of trees. We went biking to Heaven's rapids on a path where birds and insects never stop singing!
Definitely a good destination to connect back to nature. Calm, quiet, and relaxing. I only got to do Bao Sau and the surrounding areas of visitor center. You can rent a bike to explore those areas. The accommodation is also convenient. Room is clean, yet, there are bugs since we are in the forest! Food at the restaurant (Cay Dau) is also good and delicious! Kudos to the effort of reservation here. I get to see many wildlife while hiking too!
I have been here twice. The first time I cycled from the center to Ta Lai village, learning some history there. The second time I went to Bau Sau (Crocodile lake) on foot, admiring the sunset on a boat, staying overnight there and enjoying typical foods by the rangers. The rangers were friendly, they told us about the ecosystem of the lake. The dishes were made from a fast-growing fish habiting there. Evening is a perfect time for looking at the starry sky, shining eyes of crocodile in the lake as well as seeing nocturnal animals such as deers.
Nothing much to see other than forest. Big tree in forest is main attraction. Can get bicycle or motorbike to go around forest. I paid 100 for 4 hours for bicycle. Park ticket is 60k for which they take you from a small boat to the park. But they don't provide safety jacket in boat. There are some guest houses near park office. But better to have tree guesthouse opposite to park which have cool view of park and river. Take care of mosquitoes mostly in rainy season. Good relax destination from HCMC other than crowded Vung Tau.
