Was here in November 2018 and did a trip to Halong bay (or Lan Ha bay more specific). The service at the office in Hanoi was so personal and good. And the price was very reasonable as well and the trip turned out to be one of the highlights of our travels in Vietnam. If you are doubting which travel agency to go for in this sea of travel offices, just walk in for some information and I'm sure they'll make it worth your while!

Dung was very kind, responsive and helpful. He offered free coffee (a good one!) and free laundry service. We booked all the transportation through him (Tam Coc, Sapa, halongbay). You may get a cheaper price if you book it yourself at around 11usd, but the convenience was worth another couple dollars. The sapa tour they arrange was nice, but less authentic then I've expected. Obviously conditions were medium level, but it's part of the experience :) Not sure if it worth 185usd/p though. Do your research :) you can see some sapa tour pics attached.
I cannot praise this organization enough. I am planning our trip, had hit the proverbial brick wall needed to get our VOA letter. Many offers were questionable, some were not operational, others were ridiculously priced. Finally decided to try Friends Travel Vietnam even though I needed to use Other in the drop down menu for country, then fill in USA in next line. Prior to doing that I sent an email to confirm the process. Communication was excellent throughout, price was the least expensive, service was definitely 5 star, also easy to get private letters. Friends Travel Vietnam had my back throughout and are there for me with any questions. Long review? I rarely write reviews but they deserve glowing praise so I am spreading the word.
If ever in need, these people are exactly what you need. They helped us out twice and their service is very good. Use them to make sure you fully experience and enjoy this beautiful and charming country.

Very helpful staff. Helped arrange things outside the normal boundaries of the trips and excursion just as excellent recommendations on where to eat etc and even organised a place for us to keep our luggage on the last night of our holiday. Honest staff who all speak excellent English and have a passion for travel.

We did the Street food tour with this company and thought it was amazing, especially value for money - got to try 15 different dishes and there wasn't one we didn't love! Found spots we would never find ourselves in a group of just 3 which really made it special. Also shout out to our guide Minh Anh, who was so funny and full of great stories and information, answering every weird question we threw at him. Would 100% recommend!
