It was a controversial impression. One the one hand, nature is amazing. The view from the beach seems like a fairytale. On the other hand, the area for wandering is imitative. There were strange rubber crafts, bushes with "funny" shapes and so on. Overall, I would like to recommend this place. However, be aware, Orchid island is not an island (check a map).

We were here in February 2019. You can reach this place by public bus #1 or 3 from Nha Trang city center, just say a driver you need a port or Monkey island. The price to island 220K per person both way. Here you will see a beautiful flowers, mango tree, fish, bird show. And relax on the one of the best beaches around city. Not much people were there this day
We were lucky as there were no many people on the island. We also skipped animal show on purpose as this is so cruel. Instead we fed deers and parrots. The deers are so cute. There is tiny botanical garden with parrots, butterflies, fish and a lot of flowers and plants. You can also feed the parrots and fish.
First off, it isn't really an island. That being said, it is a nice place to check out orchids, butterflies and parakeets. The beach is okay, but the water was very turgid. Regular transfers from Long Phu port made access easy. Lots of animals for kids to check out like elephants, pythons, bears, and ostriches. Not a first tier destination, but could round out a visit to Nha Trang if you have an extra day on your hands.
A very beautiful place with a nice beach,although the sea was full of litter. We had a tour included around the island which had a ride on an ostrich if you would like not sure if I agree with the performing bears

Russia province. They are everywhere. Animals are touched and mistreated. If possible don't go there.. the Russians people love the animal shows witch are disgusting, sad and borring. Go there and enjoy the beach. Do not participate in the animal thong...
Nice place to enjoy with family. There are many games to play and some sorts of flowers to see and take picture
