keeping it short: they are the best! We are sad to leave would have loved to do some cooking too. Food was delicious. I loved everything, so helpful, they even gave us the coffee we liked so much on our way. The breakfast was yummi. Good bikes, we had the motorbikes even got some gear offered, great price!

Mama House is fantastic! Great safe, around 24/7 for any questions you may have. Cheap very nice motorbikes including all the protective gear needed, maps to show you how to get around and they offer easyrider tours! This is the best place to stop before starting the Ha Giang loop! Definitely recommend! Also hot showers and nice beds
Well as far as hostels go this is the best one I have stayed in. Located in a great area with plenty of local amenities near by. Rooms are well kept, clean and the beds are super comfortable. I was staying in 6 beds dorm with mini bar at Balcony, nice view. Each beds has sockets, reading lights, fan, lockers. The room also has an AC unit. At ground floor there is a bar which a quite lively at night but you won’t here a noise from the dorms . The staff super friendly, helpful with the great recommendations. All in all an amazing hostel, I will definitely go back in the future
Mama's house hostel is a perfect stay if you want to do the ha giang loop. They offer 8 bed dorms. The dorm is provided with AC and because it just opened its very clean. Breakfast is very good!! The beds are quiet comfy and the staff is really nice. They provide you with a lot of information and offer very good motorbikes for the loop including protection.
Perfect base to start the Ha Giang loop. Mama's backpackers hostel provide everything you need to complete the loop. It's possible to leave your big bag in a safe location whilst you head further north and grab a warm shower once you return. They also organised our onwards travel. The hostel is new - everything is super clean, plenty of hot water and the breakfast is big. Thank Mama's for a great stay!
Mama’s house hostel in Ha Giang is a beautiful spot! They include a free Bahn Mi breakfast and make the process of renting a motorbike for the Ha Giang loop really easy. The beds are super comfortable and the entire hostel is really clean and modern. Staff are also really helpful!
Mama is wonderwoman. She is sooo helpful. This hostel is a great home base if you are doing the Ha Giang Loop. The staff also helped book buses to and from Ha Giang. Also, be prepared for the tastiest breakfast banh mi of your life (a bit greasy but so tasty) Definitely book here.
My stay at Mama's House was perfect. Upon arrival we got picked up from the bus station and brought to the hostel. The dorm is very spacious with a/c and every bed has it's own small fan and USB plugins to charge the phone. Breakfast was included in the price, and really good! The owner of the hostel helped us as well with renting us (almost new) motorbikes and gave us lots of information about the loop and about day trips in the area. We could leave our bags at the hostel and upon return the owner also arranged our onward bus. Would definitly stay here again!
