I came to Ong Lang Beach later in the afternoon to relax and watch the sunset. It wasn't very crowded at all, even with the influx of Vietnamese tourists (who are afraid of sun exposure) at 5 PM. You can either bring your own towel to sit in the public beach area or grab one of the loungers at the Coco Palm Beach restaurant. I was not charged for the chair (I noticed some other reviewers were), but did order a couple drinks.

This is a quiet, enjoyable beach, not yet commercialized, so you can almost have the beach for yourself in the morning. It gets more visits in the afternoon. After 4pm when the sun gets less bright and hot, people come out for a nice dip. The water in October is just right and refreshing. Lounge chairs and refreshments are adequate and cheap. Overall, a quiet beach to come and relax for a day or two. No water sports, no seadoo engines to disturb the qiuetness of the place.
Very nice, clean beach and not too crowded. Not many facilities in terms of bars or sun loungers, but I actually consider this to be an advantage, making it a calmer and cleaner place than other beaches on Phu Quoc. Good for coming for kids as shallow part of the sea is quite long and waves are really mild, hence feels safe in that matter. Extra plus, thanks to geographical location, great sunsets!
Lovely clean beach. You can rent loungers for 150k, and buy delicious fruit and corn from the sellers for 40k. Sea is calm and warm.
This beach was incredible ended up leaving Sao Beach in disappointment came here to a clean, beautiful beach with crystal clear waters. Found a nice place to get 2 beach chairs just had to spend 50,000VND which s about 2USD had the chairs for the whole day. It wasn't crowded had no one bothering us trying to sell us overpriced food or drinks. I would come back was worth the experience.
