I had never done a martial art before and as a woman was not sure where to start. I first walked in during a class for children and saw children of different nationalities train actively and have fun. What surprised me was that with one word the teachers were able to have them line up quickly and quietly. When the class finished the 5-year old children all greeted me with a bow when leaving the dojo. I was quite impressed by that and decided to join a trial lesson. I met the teachers and they were helpful in explaining the differences between aikido and sword class. I tried both and signed up after the trial. I am learning so much more than just movements. Japanese culture, history, weaponry and the values of martial arts. The dojo also organizes seminars in Vietnam and training trips to Japan. I joined both with fellow students from all over the world. I like the dojo because it is extremely serious about martial arts but fun at the same time. After I came back from Japan I realized that this is a wonderful place to train.

Wonder where you can train a traditional martial art in town? The school offers the oldest Japanese sword fighting classes and Aikido classes with certified teachers from Japan. Most interesting thing? all in English!!!
