Where are the poor people at the gate? This is the first pagoda in Vietnam were there haven't been poor people selling incense or other things at the gate in order to earn a little money or even those who are beggars and are asking for alms. There aren't any here. Not even one. It certainly looks a like a very sterile atmosphere at the entrance. However. There is a dress code inside. Don't wear shorts or a short skirt. Buddha might be offended.

Beautiful striking temple. Worth a visit. Unfortunately they were renovating the main temple but still beautiful and overlooks the sea.v
Much bigger and more impressive than we'd expected. Worth a visit.
Back to the mountain. Face to beach front. Serene. Quiet. Make sure you try the generous rice plates in the the adjacent vegan restaurant with optional donation.
Great temple in a quiet location on East coast of Phu Quoc island.
