Great airport ever. I and my husband had forgotten our laptops and all money and identify docs inside and left the airport. When we came back 15 minutes later, the airport security gave us back without any lost. You made my year!

Van Don International Airport - the first private airport in Vietnam that boasts a strategic location in the north is the first airport in Vietnam to be developed under a build - operate - transfer (BOT) format with its payback period expected to be 45 years. Given its massive and well-invested infrastructure and state-of-the-art facilities. Van Don International Airport is the most advanced airport up to date, comprising 3.6km runway to facilitate the landing of world’s most advanced aircrafts at a discounted service fees for all carriers. The 3-phase project has an estimated total budget of 7.5 trillion VND (US330 million). Upon completion of all three phases in 2030, the airport will be capable of handling 5 million passengers per year.
