Absolutely brilliant. I really enjoyed the fact the centre was doing everything possible for the welfare of the animals, all explained very well by our guide. There was genuine compassion for the animals and also local people, with projects to offer alternate income and reduce poaching. The centre has a very high success rate of rehabilitation and releasing the animals into the national park and so it was lovely that they had a bright future, unlike zoos or any kind of tourist trap 'sanctuary'. You can buy merchandise to support the centre too. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful visit, a truly eye-opening experience. We particularly enjoyed talking to our guide Dat who had shared some fascinating insights into conservation, life of park rangers and issues surrounding endangered species hunting. Thank you, we will never forget our visit! Please take time to support this worthy initiative, you won’t regret it!

This place is very informative. We had a morning tour with Hannah, an amazing girl who is running the facility. You really get to understand the situation with the animals in that area. Great work team, keep it up! First, catch the boat over to the park, from there head to the main office to get tickets to the centre, then a small boat ride there. Tour starts at 8.30am so aim to catch the first ferry over to the island around 8pm for enough time to get tickets. 60K for the boat 300K for entrance into the centre (100% goes towards the centre). Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the national park!

Fantastic opportunity to see the work the centre does to provide sanctuary for gibbons. There is a viewing platform to see a few gibbons in the semi-wild and a few videos to watch on the harrowing illegal trade in wild animals. It’s also very cheap

Had a great afternoon here with Dat our guide who picked us up from Cat Tien reception in the National Park. He took us over to the island by boat (about 5 minutes), then spent the next hour showing us around and telling us about this amazing place. If you are ever in Cat Tien you should definitely spend a short morning or afternoon (8:30am, 2pm) and only 300k dong (the money supports the centre itself) to visit this place. Dat was very friendly and spoke excellent English and was happy to answer all of our questions about the animals and the park itself, showing us a few sobering videos at the end about the reality of poaching in the park. A touching and educational experience.

An excellent educational experience. This is a rehabilitation centre that works to reintroduce Gibbons back into the wild. Hannah was an incredible tour guide who is very passionate about her work and these endangered primates.

Astonishing place where the rangers and the staff is doing a really nice job trying to protect one of the biggest last wild remaining Forest in Vietnam. Bravo to them keep fighting

Must have educational experience with lots of information about the center itself, animals in the national park. You also learn about the cruelty that humans still do to endangered animals for whatever ridiculous reasons... Highly recommend!
