I refuse to even give this gym a star. I was a one-year member of this gym 4 years ago and I really liked the facilities but the service was terrible. I left the country for 3 years, when I came back for a month and wanted to get a monthly pass, I got frustrated because of its unprofessional and dishonest sales service. A salesperson gave me 3 million vnd (129USD) for a month which makes no sense and overpriced, he disrespectfully said that I could afford studying abroad but couldn't afford 3 million vnd for a monthly pass. However I didnt want to agrue in the public so I talked to him gently that I didn't agree with the price. To me that behavior showed his unprofessional in sales and was trying to fraud customers. Lately another lady salesperson came to me and gave me a free monthly pass as a gift because my mom has been their member for years. In general I feel disappointed for a gym with good facilities but bad services.

Management solicited members for contract extension but manager committed fraud by keeping the money and never extended contract. California Fitness fired this manager for fraudulent activity but denies responsibility because he's not with this company anymore. Typical behavior of companies here, never take responsibility for their employees actions. This is the kind of circus show you have to deal with this company. Absolute nightmare.

Got a 27-month membership for 10.5 mil which included 6 free PT sessions, so I was happy as price goes. Love the extensive yoga timetable taught by very skilled (Indian) yogi so I can do yoga almost everyday regardless of my schedule. I also like the Group X classes especially pole dancing (Taka is great and class is so fun). I only wish there were more pole dancing classes during the week for more practice. I just didn’t like some PT convincing me to buy training package while I’m working out. Talked to the management and it hasn’t happened again.

They need to change their business philosophy - always pressuring people to purchase more. And if you don't buy into their private sessions, they just ignore you when you come to workout. The training staff (Physical Trainers) look like they just got out of high school and need to be fed more protein; they lack experience in exercise science or kinesiology. And, English spoken over the PA is extremely hard to understand. Why bother?

Rose - the sales manager here is the worst sales person I have met. You guys really need to fire this person, I wanted to purchase new membership with 90 sections of PT but her unprofessionalism and rudeness ruined it for me. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING HERE.

Don’t go here cause they will scam you if your from another country. Website says 333000vnd but in person they want 1000000vnd per month. They don’t offer day passes. Cause they want that one month sign up. Equipment isn’t the best either. Plates go up to 15lbs and dumbbells are limited in weigh like 5-20lbs.

Horrible experience in line with other reviews. I came in asking for a daily/weekly rate as I travel for business. Would not give me a price until I filled out a form with all my contact info and had to wait 15 minutes to speak to a “consultant.” They finally arrived and offered 20 PER DAY!!! All I wanted to do was work out and didn’t have the energy to deal with such unprofessional price-gouging. Even if you can get the price down it’s extremely unprofessional and indicative of how they run things. Gym itself was too crowded to waste time argument about so I left, visibly angry and will never set foot in there again. I travel for business and have several gym memberships across Asia and have never seen anything even approaching the sheer arrogance and aggressive uselessness on display. They should be ashamed of themselves

Gym is 10 years old according to their website and the equipment matches. Cybex, Star Trac and Life fitness machines all on one level. Many consider the gym chain to be expensive, but if you're looking for clean facilities with a Western feel, they have it. Look elsewhere, if you're on a budget. Be sure to negotiate and haggle a good price so you don't pay more than necessary. If they don't budge on price ask for more months.
