It is interesting relics from old time. Hochiminh used to be Prey Nokor, Cambodian territory from 1st century. After that, Chinese Kinh which is Vietnamese came from north and get Cambodian out from 16th century. Then, here becomes Gia Dinh. After Gia Dinh, here is called Saigon. This gate is from the age. It is interesting how the territory changed. Cambodian is here for more than 1500 years. Vietnamese just come and live fo 400 years.
