Sure they killed everything in the ocean, but as a passing through tourist, this place, from a distance, is simply amazing in it's size. Further interest comes from just how horrible the surrounding area is, and where all the workers hard earned money goes.
This is a very big steel company from Taiwan
The company has been working at its best to follow the regulations in Vietnam, and set up higher standard for internal policies, even the SOEs in Vietnam can not reach. There are lots of haters influenced by local media stigmatizing Formosa without any official evidence from the government, and who dares commenting on how much money Vietnamese, from the local authorities and residents in Ha Tinh, have taken away from this project.
Good company,we should give it one more chance.
