very nice coconut island. they show you how the coconut candy is done. combined with makong delta boat ride is a very nice way to spend 3-4 hours in the area. only 2 hours car ride from saigon.

To see how they manufactured coconut candy first hand was a treat! The pricing was also fair as well. I grabbed several candy treats to bring back to the states because it seemed like a must-have.
It is built to serve tourists. You will see how they make coconut toffee. And also see how much they can make out of coconut. There is a good chance to taste coconut wine, snake wine and sticky rice wine here. And also you can see how they wrap coconut toffee quickly by their hand. It’s a tourist spot so if you want to buy some candies for your friends you can get them here. Buy 5 get 1 for free. 30k Dong for one package of coconut toffee.
More of a touristy area, nothing too special apart from the Snake Wine. There are also live demos of how coconut candies are being made and you may also buy them from the locals. (Forgotten the price but it’s relatively cheap) Other than that there are some restaurant here too and other islands (For example the Bee Island and the “Unicorn” Island)
