Since the creation of the company in 2009, we have been a historic partner of CORYS (ex RSI) on process simulation activities. In 2015, we became CORYS (ex RSI)'s exclusive sales representative in Vietnam for Dynamic High-Fidelity Operator Training Simulators (OTS). This allows us to be a direct vendor and integrator in the Vietnamese market for High-fidelity Operator Training Simulators. We are able to answer to the “call for tender” including commercial, technical and support offers and to manage the complete project until final delivery. The need for High-Fidelity OTS is driven by three main goals. The first one is the smart factory: designing the factory virtually and dynamically before start of construction and check the plant safety and productivity. The second one is for training purpose. Indeed the simulators are used to train operators and engineers to plant, safety procedures and to increase operator productivity. The last one is to optimise overall plant productivity and to improve customer and operator experience. LQVN has been founded in 2009. Our company is based in the beautiful city centre of Hanoi. The vision of the company was to create a new core competence in Vietnam in the software simulation sector. Before coming back to Vietnam, our founders worked for CORYS (ex RSI) from 1994. They were Senior Project Managers for the development of High-Fidelity dynamic simulation software. Their strong competences on management, development and delivery of large projects were well recognized by their peers and by our customers. The main achievements were projects such as: • Sincor Upgrader, Venezuela, in 2000 • Leuna Refinery, Germany, in 2002 • Aromatic Complex, Iran, in 2003 • Donges Refinery, France, in 2005 • Uhde Training Center, Germany / Egypt, in 2006 • Aromatic Complex, Oman, in 2008 • Dung Quat Petrovietnam refinery, Vietnam, in 2008 • Peregrino FPSO, Brazil, in 2009 Our main product is the Dynamic High-Fidelity Operator Training Simulators (OTS). For each customer, we build a complete new Dynamic High-Fidelity OTS that fits the client’s needs. This OTS is designed on a CORYS (ex RSI) owned software platform called INDISS-plus. This software allows having high fidelity and dynamic simulation, to cover the full project life cycle, to have robust process and to access to control, thermodynamic libraries. Our main services are designing the High-Fidelity OTS for our customers. Once the OTS is designed, it is implemented onsite. Thus, we provide user training when the OTA is deployed. At the same time, we provide the Software License to the customer. When the product is delivered, we offer on/off-site support. At last, we propose consulting activities for our customers to advice on how to improve their products.
