Amazing place! The neighborhood is really good and not too far from the center. The owners are a really nice and friendly family. I would recommend 100% staying there. The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern. The breakfast is delicious and I have really good memories from this place and the family. I can't wait to go back and visit them again. It was an amazing stay!
What a fabulous stay! We spent 12 nights here over the Lunar New Year, and it was the perfect location to relax and enjoy local life, while still being within easy reach of approachable tourist spots that stayed open over the holiday. Cam Kim island is a beautiful residential area, with a number of local coffee shops, and great cycling options around the nearby fields and quiet streets. The host family are a delight and went to great lengths to make us feel welcome; we ended up as guests at their family new year party, as well as joining them for some meals, on outings to their favourite local spots and even to visit friends. There is always somebody around the house which makes it feel very secure, and they are always keen to help you with breakfast, bicycles or motorbikes. It's a short ride into the old town centre via the new bridge, (too narrow for cars so taxis have to go the long way around). Our room was pretty and clean, with big windows, a small balcony space and a really good shower. Netflix on the tv was great for a quiet night-in! From tailoring to tours, there's an array of skills and advice on offer. We rented one of their motorbikes for the day and rode out to the UNESCO site of My Son in around an hour - there's a well-priced little petrol station very nearby and it was easy to take quieter back roads most of the way. We had such a wonderful time that we are quite sad to be leaving. We'll definitely be visiting again the next time we are in Vietnam!
We were quite disappointed, the place was farther away, than it says in in booking. The bathroom was dirty, and the view from the window was okay. In the morning, instead of breakfast, they gave us cheapest banh mi. So for the money the charge you can find something way closer with the same condition and view. Even if you're going by bike, I still sure you can find way nicer and closer options. Pictures were better than reality. Don't recommend it.
Great homestay run by a lovely family not far from Hoi An old town, plesant rural area, incredible friendly owners, we were more than welcome there. Wonderful service, clean and cosy place, tasty breakfast. Highly recomended!
Extremely friendly couple who run the place. Decent breakfast made every day until 10am. Comfy beds and clean rooms, in a nice quiet area. Easy ride on a scooter or bicycle to the town centre.
Room was fine, clean and quite new. The owners are a couple, the woman was very nice and prepared a good breakfast for us, the man was a bit sneaky and did not feel like making breakfast on our first day.
Pretty decent just far away from city so hope you have a scooter!
