REACH Vietnam is rated 3 out of 5 in the category nonprofit organization management. Read and write reviews about REACH Vietnam. REACH is a local non-government and non-profit organization which specializes in providing vocational training, career advice, and job placement services for Vietnam’s most disadvantaged youth. In Vietnam, a combination of low education and skills, high youth unemployment levels, poverty, dependency, and declining self-esteem leads to impoverished youth having few economic opportunities. REACH targets the most vulnerable youth who are in need of accessible, affordable skills training. We target disadvantaged young people living in the cities and neighboring provinces of Hanoi, Hue, and Danang between the ages of 16-25 years. Since 2010 we have extended this age range from 16 – 30 years in some circumstances, to also include in our target group young women from marginalized groups such as trafficked women, and women from families living with / affected by HIV or other difficult circumstances. REACH program graduates go on to earn competitive wages with small, medium and large businesses in Vietnam. Many graduates advance to supervisor, assistant manager and manager roles soon after completing their courses. With a team of experienced, dedicated facilitators, REACH is enabling thousands of disadvantaged Vietnamese youth to reach for their future via access to free vocational training and employment opportunities. REACH annually trains about 1,200 students, with over 80% of them in employment six months after graduation.
