Summary: Food 2/10 Service 8/10 Ambience 9/10 — Always wanted to visit intercontinental @ landmark 72 in Hanoi. So I did. I made a reservation for Stellar Teppanyaki thinking of it as a treat. I was so wrong.. on to the review Ambience It was indeed beautiful, the Teppanyaki station had an amazing backdrop of Hanoi which changes as the sun set. Service Service was really good. Nothing less is to be expected from a renowned hotel I however, expected more of a show as that is why we go to teppanyaki no? There was barely any show other than some “Fire” Food After flipping through the options, I chose the earth menu to have an idea if I should return. I will not review every dish safe for those that left an impression. Here goes Chawanmushi Looked great at first but upon eating it, a really strong foul smell appeared, chalking it up to the konbu base, I thought that it was just me. Boy was I wrong ... Steak Was hands down the best dish of the set. The meat was succulent and flavorful. Every bite was satisfying. Other comments The other dishes were either tad bit salty or borderline tasteless.... —— Price/value The whole night cost me about 5m VND (usd 210) Was it worth? I have to add a point. At about 3am, both my guest and I woke up to a horrendous stomach ache and was left sitting in the toilet for an hour. I am 120% sure that it is something we ate at Stellar as I practice a very strict intermittent (20-4) that opens my eating widows only from 5pm. My reservation as 6. —— The CS from Stellar told me they will contact me but it has been a week and I have yet to hear from them. — They got back to me with some document stating they tested the food. That’s good to know and all but it felt super defensive .

LA PERFECTION. i went their with my friend for a romantic diner and everything was perfect. We start with some cocktails at the bar and then went to this beautiful dining room. the table they booked for us was very romantic and nicely prepared, we had foie gras as a starter and then we took the gold tomahawk (who seems to be one of the signature dish) and it was outstanding, juicy and perfectly cooked. we even met the chef Denver who came check if we were happy and it made us felt special. i highly recomand this place.I will definitely come back.

I and 3 of my friends visited Stellar's Steakhouse for a dinner. The portion is great and the quality of the steak is great for me. The highlight of the night is that we had a view to the city and see the light flow of the traffic on the ground.
I, my boyfriend and our friends visited Stellar Steakhouse in the first opening day of Lunar New Year. We were warmly welcome by the restaurant manager Ms. Uyen. Mr. Chi took care of us during service. We ordered a Grade 2 Jack’s creek bone in rib eye for 4 people and the side dishes is a smoked duck breast salad and a red tuna tartar. The steak was amazing from the thickness, flavourful taste and nice shape. Ms Uyen served it on a big trolley that full of nice utensils. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare. We chose the mushroom sauce and cognac with Phu Quoc pepper sauce. For me, the mushroom sauce is the best. Dining from the top of Hanoi in a gorgeous restaurant is a highlight in my trip and if I have a chance to come back.
This is one of my favourite steak places IN THE WORLD. While it doesn’t have the buzz of a NYC establishment it more than makes up for it with the quality and range of meat. Service is always exceptional and way beyond normal VN service standards.
