The University of Danang (UD) was established following the Decree 32/CP dated April 04th 1994 of the Government. Joining 40 years of training and research tradition of member colleges (1975-2015), UD is in its 21st year of formation and development (1994-2015). Being a major university in the biggest city of the Central Vietnam, nested by three Cultural Heritages of the world namely Hoi An ancient city, My Son holy land and Hue imperial city, UD is a regional multi-level, multi-disciplinary university training human resources for the Central Area and Western Highlands of Vietnam. Engineering, technology, economics, education and foreign languages are training strengths of UD.
