The promenade along the river offers a good view of the river and also the city. However crossing the major road to get to it is a challenge. From the promenade, you can walk all the way back to the City Hall along the pedestrian mall which is well maintain and is especially pleasant to walk in the evening.
Well spread area, okay facilities. Since its a camping site with tents and huts, bathrooms are common. They need to maintain and clean them very frequently. There were no toilet papers in the morning hours. Else great beach. Bornfire et all
A historical landmark which was the flag-signal mast for shipping in and out of Saigon, first built in 1865. The current flagpole is from 1900 and has much potential for a more interesting historical or maritime exhibit. It’s free to visit but you can’t go inside. There are some faded pictures of the city in earlier years and the English description of this landmark had fallen off the wall, but was retrieved by a very friendly caretaker. Nice views on the Saigon river and the Hồ Chí Minh Museum.
