Vietnam Summer School in Research (VSSR) is a non-profit annual summer school in research founded by Harvard postdoc fellow Dr. Jenny Tue Anh and Harvard University scholar Vu Thanh Chau. The goal of VSSR is to connect and empower young Vietnamese researchers, both in Vietnam and from abroad by including but not limited to fostering dialogue and sharing knowledge. The topics considered may vary from year to year, ranging from social science to natural science, from general methodologies to very focused topics of interest. Profits from the program will be donated to benefit children infected with meningitis and encephalitis at the Department of Pediatric Neurology, National Children’s Hospital, Hanoi.
