Founded in the 1920’s, World University Service of Canada (WUSC) is a Canadian non-profit organisation committed to building a more equitable and sustainable world. We work with a unique and powerful network of post-secondary institutions, private sector partners and volunteers to provide education, employment and empowerment opportunities that aim to improve the lives of millions of disadvantaged women and youth around the world. We match the skills and experience of our volunteers from Canada with the goals and needs of our local partners to ensure sustainable development outcomes. Today, we have development programmes in 13 countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America and North America. WUSC Vietnam was established in Hanoi in 1991. Since then, we have implemented a wide range of education and training programmes in the country. We work closely with our local partners to identify the areas where they need support. These areas have included marketing and communications, project management, partnership development, information technology, recruitment and soft skills training.
